What I love most about wedding planning: "I love all of the little details that come with putting together each wedding. ..the ones that you have to pay very close attention to in order for the bride to have her perfect day. Then when you see everyone walk in to the ceremony and reception in awe and you know it was a success."

Favorite wedding memory: "I really liked the one with the live blues band and southern cooking like fried chicken, green beans, etc. .... I just thought it was really cool to pull all of those simple things together into such an elegant wedding."

Favorite cake flavor: " I thought I liked white cake with white icing, but then I saw the million different huge cup cakes at Kristin's madder hatter tea party. Those are definitely the best in any flavor!"

"We expected that wedding planning would be stressful, but Kristie was so organized and helpful that we didn't worry about a thing. She knew all of the top vendors within our budget and set up appointments around our schedules. She kept a running tab of our budget and was careful that we didn't spend too much."

What do you know now that you didn't know when you planned your own wedding? When I was planning my wedding I didn't realize how many little details go into making the wedding day a success. But with the classes I'm taking and working with Kristie I now know that every little detail matters, and every little detail has a big part in making that special day everything the bride and groom want it to be.

Favorite wedding event: My favorite is the kiss... the first moment the couple gets to share their love for one another as husband and wife.

Favorite wedding song: My favorite wedding song is actually a father-daughter dance song. "My little girl" by Tim McGraw. It's the song me and my father danced to. It wasn't my first choice, but it was his choice. And it was the perfect song to dance with my father to. Guess father's really do know best.
